How to read a community poll without mistaking it for the market

A community poll describes the people who chose to respond, at a particular time, to a particular question. It is not a representative survey of all traders or a probability model.
Read the wording
Check the instrument, horizon and event being discussed. Different wording can produce different answers. “What are you watching?” is not the same as “What will price do?”
Read the sample
A small number of votes can change quickly. Shared devices, coordinated participation and self-selection can affect a result. Account controls and moderation reduce some abuse; they do not transform the sample into a scientific forecast.
Add the useful part
Explain your reasoning and the evidence that would change your vote. A thoughtful minority view can be more valuable than the largest bar. Polls here are intended to start a conversation, surface uncertainty and make learning enjoyable. No poll should ask you to reveal account balances, wallet credentials or personal financial circumstances.
