This policy describes how BankSignals.com ("BankSignals," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information through banksignals.com, Octave products, Octavia services, device-alert subscriptions, and our authorized Google and YouTube integrations.
2. Information we collect
Website and service information
- Account and contact details you provide, such as name and email address.
- Subscription, entitlement, device-registration, delivery-status, and support records.
- Technical and usage information such as browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, page activity, security events, and diagnostics.
- Questions, chat messages, and feedback you submit to Octavia or our support channels.
Google and YouTube information
When an authorized channel owner connects YouTube, our service may access and manage the specific YouTube channel data permitted by the consent screen. This can include broadcast and stream configuration, video metadata, live-chat identifiers and messages, moderation actions, channel information, and authorization tokens needed to keep the connection active.
3. How we use information
- Operate and secure the Octave and Octavia services.
- Create, monitor, rotate, archive, and update authorized YouTube live broadcasts.
- Read and respond to live-chat questions and apply configured moderation controls.
- Deliver requested market alerts to registered devices and enforce subscription and device limits.
- Provide support, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and improve service reliability.
- Meet legal, security, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
4. Google API data
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google authorization tokens and channel data are used only to provide and secure the features requested by the authorized channel owner. We do not use Google user data for advertising, sell it, or allow humans to read it except when necessary for security, support requested by the user, legal compliance, or with the user's affirmative permission.
5. Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers that host, secure, process payments for, or deliver our services, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or Google user data.
6. Storage, security, and retention
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Authorization tokens are kept in restricted server or local service storage and are not placed in public webpages or broadcast sources. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal obligations.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. You can revoke Google access at any time from your Google Account connections. You may also disconnect a device or stop browser notifications through your BankSignals account and device settings. Revoking access may disable connected YouTube features.
8. Cookies and analytics
We may use essential cookies and local storage for login, security, preferences, and service operation, plus limited analytics to understand performance and usage. Browser controls can restrict cookies, but some service functions may then be unavailable.
9. Children and international use
Our trading and market-intelligence services are not directed to children under 18. If you use the services from outside the United States, information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate.
